Freightrain Supports SCLAA Launch into Regional Australia

by Freightrain

Freightrain is a proud partner of the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) and as such recently supported the organisation’s expansion into various regional areas.

The SCLAA officially launched their Northern Territory division in September and Freightrain director and co-founder, Chris Rowlands was on hand to address the audience on the impact of Chain of Responsibility laws on businesses and their operations. Chris was able to update the attendees of their requirements under the legislation as well as provide practical advice regarding the actions needed to achieve compliance.

At a separate SCLAA event, staged in Nowra by the ACT & Southern NSW division, Freightrain was represented by Peter Elliot, who explained to the forty strong crowd businesses’ obligations to comply to the Chain of Responsibility laws.

The SCLAA’s expansion into regional areas ensures that the association has a truly national presence. National chairman of the SCLAA, David Rogers stated “The launch of the Northern Territory division is evidence that the association is growing. We now have divisions in WA, VIC, NSW, QLD, ACT & SNSW, SA and now NT; not too many other industry associations have such an extensive coverage and we cater to both professionals and practitioners across supply chain, logistics, transport and procurement.”
